Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is a scenic Himalayan city known for its monasteries, mountain views and Buddhist culture. This itinerary begins at Bagdogra Airport (West Bengal), from which you drive (~4–5 hours) through tea gardens to Gangtok. The tour covers Gangtok’s main attractions – high-altitude lakes, temples and waterfalls – and includes a day trip to Kalimpong.
Day 1
Arrive Bagdogra Airport
Arrive Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Gangtok by coach (≈4–5 hours, scenic route). Check in at your hotel and relax. Evening at leisure to stroll MG Road for local snacks. (Overnight in Gangtok.)
Day 2
Gangtok sightseeing
Gangtok sightseeing: visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, the tranquil Tsomgo Lake(12,400 ft altitude) and Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok temples for city views. Continue to the Himalayan Zoological Park. Return to Gangtok; evening free. (Optional: shop for silk and handicrafts on MG Road.)
Day 3
More Gangtok
More Gangtok: see Ban Jhakri Falls, Enchey Monasteryand the Do Drul Chorten Ride the Gangtok Ropeway (cable car) for a panoramic city view. Afternoon at leisure, or visit local handicraft shops. (Overnight in Gangtok.)
Day 4
Drive to Kalimpong
Drive to Kalimpong(~2 hours). Visit the hill town’s attractions: Deolo Hill Park, lush nurseries, and Lepcha Heritage Centre. See Durpin Dara Hill and Tharpa Choling Monastery. Return to Gangtok in evening. (Overnight in Gangtok.)
Day 5
Tour ends
After breakfast, transfer back to Bagdogra Airport for departure. (Tour ends.)
Optional Activities: River rafting on Teesta (near Gangtok); Sikkim ropeway; traditional Sikkimese museum visit; Yak riding.
Inclusions: 4 nights in 3★ hotels (Gangtok/Kalimpong), daily breakfast, private transfers (airport–hotel, sightseeing coach), all sightseeing and entrance fees as per itinerary, local guide.

- Cancellation Policy
- Reservations are eligible for free cancellation 21 days prior to the arrival date
- Reservations cancelled between 15 to 21 days before the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the accommodation charge
- Reservations cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the entire duration of the stay
- Taking into account the season, the hotel authorities might occasionally modify rates, over which we have no influence. In such cases, we will furnish an updated rate sheet
