Darjeeling, often called the “Queen of the Hills,” is famed for its verdant tea plantations and panoramic mountain vistas. Nestled in the Himalayas, it offers a quaint hill-station atmosphere with colonial‐era charm. This itinerary is designed to soak in Darjeeling’s top sights: an early-morning visit to Tiger Hill for sunrise (optional), a heritage ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train), and visits to the Peace Pagoda, Tibetan monasteries and bazaars, and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. The tour combines scenic drives and leisurely exploration of local culture and cuisine.
Day 1
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and take a private transfer (≈3–4 hours by road) to Darjeeling. Check into your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a stroll along the Mall Road or an optional stroll in the Joy Ride (Dragon’s Loop) railway. (Overnight in Darjeeling.)
Day 2
Full-day Darjeeling sightseeing
Full-day Darjeeling sightseeing. At dawn, drive up to Tiger Hill (watching the sunrise over Kanchenjunga, optional extra). Then visit Ghoom Monastery and the nearby Batasia Loop war memorial. Continue to the Japanese Peace Pagoda, Himalayan Zoological Park, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre. Return to town for shopping and dinner. (All meals provided.)
Day 3
Explore more of Darjeeling
Explore more of Darjeeling. Tour a tea plantation and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, or visit local markets. Afternoon at leisure: you might take the famous Gangtok Ropeway(cable car) for city views, or simply enjoy the hotel’s amenities. (Overnight in Darjeeling.)
Day 4
Tour ends
After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Bagdogra Airport/railway station for departure home. (Tour ends.)
Optional Activities: Sunrise trip to Tiger Hill; Jeep excursion to Happy Valley Tea Estate; toy train ride (Ghum–Darjeeling); shopping for handicrafts and Darjeeling tea.
Inclusions: 3 nights’ 3–4★ accommodation in Darjeeling, daily breakfast, all transfers and sightseeing in an air-conditioned vehicle, local English-speaking guide, and monument entrance fees. (All transportation by road coach or car as noted.)

- Reservations are eligible for free cancellation 21 days prior to the arrival date
- Reservations cancelled between 15 to 21 days before the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the accommodation charge
- Reservations cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the entire duration of the stay
- Taking into account the season, the hotel authorities might occasionally modify rates, over which we have no influence. In such cases, we will furnish an updated rate sheet
