Kerala is known as “God’s Own Country” – a tropical paradise of backwaters, spice forests and misty hill stations. This tour begins in coastal Kochi (Cochin) and proceeds to the hill resort of Munnar, then to Thekkady (Periyar National Park), and finally to Alleppey on the Arabian Sea. Along the way you will see tea plantations, wildlife sanctuaries and tranquil canals.
Day 1
Arrive Cochin
Arrive Cochin (Kochi) Railway Station or Airport; meet your guide and transfer to Kochi hotel. Later, tour the historic port city: visit Mattancherry Palace, the Paradesi Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, and see the iconic Chinese fishing nets on Fort Kochi beach. In the evening enjoy a Kathakali dance performance or a sunset cruise on the backwaters (optional). (Overnight in Kochi.)
Day 2
drive to Munnar
After breakfast, drive to Munnar (≈4 hours). En route admire rolling tea estates and waterfalls. On arrival, check into your hill resort. Evening at leisure. (Overnight in Munnar.)
Day 3
Munnar sightseeing
Munnar sightseeing: tour the sprawling tea gardens and plantations, visit the Tea Museum, and take a nature walk or trek to Echo Point. Enjoy boating on Kundala Lakeand visit Mattupetty Dam and Top Station for panoramic views. (Overnight in Munnar.)
Day 4
Depart Munnar
Depart Munnar after breakfast for Thekkady (≈3 hours). En route, drive through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. In Thekkady you can take a boat cruise on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, tigers, and other wildlife. Evening at leisure in spice-land. (Overnight in Thekkady.)
Day 5
departure to Alleppey
Morning departure to Alleppey(≈3 hours). Check in to a houseboat or hotel and spend the day relaxing amid the serene backwaters of Kerala. Overnight on a traditional houseboat (with all meals) cruising the Alleppey canals, enjoying the lush scenery.
Day 6
Tour ends
After breakfast, disembark and drive back to Cochin (≈1.5 hours). Transfer to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward flight or train. (Tour ends.)
Optional Activities: Spice plantation visit in Thekkady; elephant ride at Periyar; canoe trip through village canals at Alleppey; traditional Ayurvedic massage; visit a coir-making workshop.
Inclusions: 5 nights’ accommodation (3★ hotels in Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady; 1 night houseboat in Alleppey), daily breakfast, all intra-trip transfers by air-conditioned coach, boat cruise at Periyar, Kerala houseboat cruise (with meals), and sightseeing tours as per itinerary.

- Cancellation Policy
- Reservations are eligible for free cancellation 21 days prior to the arrival date
- Reservations cancelled between 15 to 21 days before the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the accommodation charge
- Reservations cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the entire duration of the stay
- Taking into account the season, the hotel authorities might occasionally modify rates, over which we have no influence. In such cases, we will furnish an updated rate sheet
